Embarking on a Journey
Mark spent over seventeen years exploring fifty-three countries on six continents to film his debut feature length film "Why in the World." During hundreds of hours of interviews and adventures, he asked five basic worldview questions to a staggering variety of people. The questions seek to discover how we humans are alike, where we differ, and whether the differences matter. Mark's interview subjects included Hindu sadhus, Muslim Imams, Buddhist Monks, Jihadi terrorists, Orthodox priests as well as remote cannibal tribesmen, families of tsunami victims, and genocide survivors. Weaving his own art, music and humor into the storytelling creates a movie that is uniquely engaging and original.
Meet Mark
Mark Forti is an American inventor, artist, and filmmaker. As the founder and CEO of a Southern California development company, Mark has patented at least twenty-five of his inventions and has brought to market such hit toys as Feisty Pets™, Air Swimmers™, X-zylo™, Air Burst Rockets™, My Mystery UFO™, and Flitter Fairies™. He has sold millions of units of his toys all over the world. The Feisty Films YouTube channel Mark created for his Feisty Pets™ brand has received over 300 million views to date.
